Author's note: This fic is for karraparis as a sort of appetizer before I deliver her helpthesouth fic. The original request was for Tim/Kon and this was supposed to be the start of a much longer fic but I ended up having major fail in regards to finishing this. However, I liked this standalone moment and wanted to share. This is essentially my take on what could have happened in the aftermath of the reveal of Kon's origins. Since I don't have access to that particular panel, I apologize for any canon fail on my part.

Author's note: This is a very belated entry for bradygirl12's 2011 DCU Fic/Art Valentine's Day challenge. (Thank you for still accepting it!) and used the prompts of: music (lyrics belong to Butterflies by Sia), dancing, roses, dinner (sort of), other flowers, black, yellow, fishnets, aphrodisiacs that are not chocolate-in this case shrimp capers for Dinah (for anyone who has read Gail Simone's run of BoP, you'll get that one)

Also, I really was hoping for fluffier/sexier fic, but these two have a lot of issues to work out, so it went in a much angstier direction. And, while I'm not sure I picture Oliver as a Sia fan, the lyrics of this song were just too perfect for these two to pass up.

Summary: I think it was bradygirl_12 who mentioned awhile back that she would like to see a fic comparing the similarities and differences between these three couples. From that prompt comes this series of loosely connected vignettes. I have to say that Bruce and Selina were the largest contrast of the three (big surprise) Title for this first part is from a Grace Potter song that oddly fit with this idea.

Also, this does not follow 'canon'. It's set in its own world and based on various origin stories for the couples.
